About Gan Gan Tao
GAN GAN TAO
Modern Day Defensive Tactics
Although Gan Gan Tao is a Martial Art, it is the base foundation
for defensive tactics training for companies such as 538 Pty Ltd,
one of Australia's elite bodyguard companies. Through to non-pain
compliant applications as used by organisations such as Alpha Autism,
for support staff defensive training.
NON-PAIN Compliant defensive tactics for the Hospital
sectors, and for the Disability sectors.
For security personnel, there are advanced techniques, and optional
force applications.
Gan Gan Tao's Principal Instructor J.D. Rashid (1st Dan Black Belt,
Shinjimasu GanGan Gung fu), has over 25 years experience in the
security industry and in defensive tactics. As well as over 6 years
in defensive tactics training for Alpha Autism.
The International Chairman & Master Instructor of Shinjimasu
International Martial Arts Academy (Retired Special Forces Instructor)
"BABA" Saint Godson Adeogba 8th Dan Shinjimasu. Taught
J.D. to train with an open mind. He said the military don't care
where a technique comes from. Only that It works quickly and efficiently.
This is the focus when we live in a time of peace. Be naturally
assertive in a passive manor not to offend. But listen and see your
environment. To be prepared to respond to a potential threat if
required.
Together with his training in Shinjimasu, J.D. spent 6 years with
Master David Chueng. Training in his wonderful style of Wing Chun.
Master Chuen also coached J.D. to win the 1995 Australian Heavy
Weight Kung fu Championship, in Melbourne.
Gan Gan Tao, is a style based on Shinjimasu Karate, Wing Chun Kung
Fu, as well as close quarter combat skills. However it also encompasses
a compassionate philosophy to its applications and delivery techniques.
Gan Gan Tao techniques work in the real world, you must focus your
energy, Keep your head up, eyes open and stay alert, trust your
intuition. Don't look like a victim. Stay calm and be smart in the
face of danger.
The foundations of Gan Gan Tao are so diverse and applicable to
real life situations, that they are used in the security industry,
the hospital industry, and the disability sectors, everyday. From
open hand non-pain compliant systems as taught in the 538PRT
program and used by organisations such as, Alpha Autism, and
other disability service organisations. Through to full defensive
techniques used by elite bodyguard companies.
